Fahrenheit 451 Motion Picture

I am currently reading Ray Bradbury's book "Fahrenheit 451" and as I am reading I stopped (at about page 124) and thought to myself, "Why haven't they made a modern motion picture for Fahrenheit 451?" I just find it completely ignorant that the Film Industry hasn't put together a modern motion picture that could make them MILLIONS! So many Movies and Films have been total failures and it just makes me wonder... Why they wouldn't produce Films based on books that are great (like Fahrenheit 451)? Producers usually look to books when they feel lost and need ideas, so why haven't they turned to Fahrenheit 451? That is a question that no one will understand. Anyway, I better get back to reading.
