My "Dream"

Key:
a = alternative

I have a couple of different plans for when I graduate High school:

1) I plan to become a Cinematographer, Film Editor, Director, or Producer in the Film Industry. It would be a dream come true because I love Cinematography. I love Film Editing the most. Editing takes a lot of time, because you have many different cuts before you finish/perfect the final product. I am currently in a High School level Advanced Film class and I plan to take it further.

1a) If I don't make it to the Film industry then I could become a Cinematography teacher.

2) Another plan of mine is to go into the Music Industry. I love to play music and sing, I feel a deep connection between myself and the instruments that I play. I currently play the Ukulele and the Guitar, I have been playing the Ukulele since I was in the 4th grade but I barely started playing Guitar the start of this school year. I have taught myself both instruments, but I was given Ukulele lessons during my 6th grade and half of my 7th grade year. I am currently in a songwriting class and I have written two songs so far. I have written songs before but I have forgotten them along the way. I like to think of songs like pancakes (and unless you are a professional), the first ones aren't so good. My dream to join the Music Industry is 1st in my heart but I keep it in the back of my mind. It's a plan B in case I don't make it to the Music Industry one day, because I can always play music on the side with friends and family.

2a) If I don't make it to the Film or Music Industry then I plan to become either a stringed-instrument teacher or a songwriting/music production teacher.

3) If neither one of those plans work out then I could start small by working in a Hotel or Fast Food Restaurant and work my way up and maybe become owner/manager one day. Or I could become a construction worker because they make a good amount of money.

One thing for sure (unless I am noticed by the Music or Film industry) I plan on moving back home to Hawai'i after I graduate.
